What to Expect

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning then take you to Oslob. Upon arrival at the briefing area, you will be required to join the queue, register, listen to the briefing, and wait for your priority number to be called. While waiting, you can eat breakfast at nearby restaurant. Once you’re priority number is called, you’ll be provided with life vest, goggles. Then, you’ll ride a boat to the interaction area and swim with the Whale Sharks for 30 minutes. After that, you’ll be given time to eat breakfast at your preferred restaurant in the area. Then, we’ll take you to Sumilon island by an outrigger boat. The sandbar changes shapes and shift locations around the island, depending on the season, and it appears during low tide. Snorkeling at the island’s marine sanctuary can be availed onsite on your own account. Next, you’ll travel to Badian for at least one and a half hours for your next activity – the Canyoneering Adventure.

Upon arrival at the canyoneering station, you’ll be provided with safety gears and tour guide before heading to the starting point. You may ride the 1 kilometer zip line to shorten the hike from the entrance to the first jump for 10 minutes instead of 30 minutes. You’ll be hiking, swimming, sliding, rope-swinging, and jumping-off cliffs and waterfalls ranging from 1 meter to 11 meters high. Don’t worry, the required jump is only 1 meter high and the rest are optional. The tour culminates at Kawasan Falls, a multi-layered waterfalls emanating from Kabukalan Spring, famous for its turquoise clear waters. At the end of the tour, you’ll be provided with a sumptuous meal before heading back to your hotel.

• Any Swimwear – swimsuit, shorts, rash guard, etc.
• Towel and Clothes to change
• Waterproof Camera / Cellphone in a waterproof pouch
• Canyoneering Footwear – any non-slip footwear
  • Flip-Flops are not allowed
  • Sneakers, Running Shoes, Thick Aqua Shoes and Trekking Sandals are ideal. We can provide if you don’t have.

Canyoneering Requirements

• Participants must be at least 3 feet / 91.44 cm tall, physically and medically fit
• This is not recommended to anyone with impaired physical mobility, medical condition such as high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.
• Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Footwear – any non-slip footwear (we can provide if you don’t have)
  • Sneakers, Running Shoes, Thick Aqua Shoes and Trekking Sandals are ideal
  • Flip-Flops are not allowed

Child Policy

• 3 years old & above (at least 3 feet / 91.44 cm tall) – Regular Price. Can Join the Canyoneering
• 3 years old & above (below 3 feet tall) – Discounted Price. Cannot Join the Canyoneering. Go directly to Kawasan Falls together with a parent/guardian and a guide
• Below 3 years old – Free of charge but not included in the headcount

Refund Policy​

• No Sighting of the Whale Sharks is non-refundable
• Kawasan Canyoneering fee is refundable if suspended due to bad weather
• Used vehicle is non-refundable
