What to Expect

Moalboal & Badian Tour. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning. Upon arrival in Moalboal, you’ll be provided with life vest, goggles, and guide with life buoy. The “Sardine Run” is a natural occurrence in which enormous schools of sardines congregate to form a huge “bait ball.” They act in this way to defend themselves against predators, and their coordinated motions can give the impression that they are one large entity. It’s well-known in Moalboal, Cebu, where millions of sardines are readily accessible to divers and snorkelers just off the coast of Panagsama Beach. You don’t need a boat to get a chance to swim with the Sardine Run and Sea Turtles. However, you can also choose to hire a boat, which will allow you to get to Pescador Island for snorkeling and feeding small coral reef fish. One hour is allotted for the snorkeling activities. If you hire a boat, it will be used to transport you to Pescador Island, Sardines, and Sea Turtles and three hours will be spent on all of the activities.

You’ll be given time to eat breakfast at your preferred restaurant in the area. Then, we’ll take you to Badian for your next exciting and adrenaline-pumping activity – Kawasan Canyoneering Adventure. Upon arrival at the canyoneering station, you’ll be provided with safety gears and tour guide before heading to the starting point. You can ride the 1 kilometer Zip Line to shorten the hike from the entrance to the first jump for 10 minutes instead of 30 minutes. You’ll be hiking, swimming, sliding, rope-swinging, and jumping-off cliffs and waterfalls ranging from 1 meter to 11 meters high. Don’t worry, the required jump is only 1 meter high and the rest are optional. The tour culminates at Kawasan Falls, a multi-layered waterfalls emanating from Kabukalan Spring, famous for its turquoise clear waters. After canyoneering, you’ll be provided with a sumptuous meal before going back to your hotel.

Oslob Tour. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning then take you to Oslob. Upon arrival at the Whale Shark briefing area, you are required to register and listen to the briefing. Once your “queue number” is called, you’ll be given your life vest and goggles. Then, ride a boat to the interaction area and swim with the Whale Sharks for 30 minutes. After that, you’ll be given time to eat breakfast at your preferred restaurant in the area. Next, we’ll take you to Tumalog Falls to cool down. Then, we’ll take you to Sumilon Island by an outrigger boat. The sandbar changes shapes and shift locations around the island, depending on the season, and it appears during low tide.

• Any Swimwear – swimsuit, shorts, rash guard, etc.
• Canyoneering Footwear – any non-slip footwear
  • Flip-Flops are not allowed
  • Sneakers, Running Shoes, Thick Aqua Shoes and Trekking Sandals are ideal. We can provide if you don’t have.
• Towel and Clothes to change
• Waterproof Camera / Cellphone in a waterproof pouch

Canyoneering Requirements

• Participants must be at least 3 feet / 91.44 cm tall, physically and medically fit
• This is not recommended to anyone with impaired physical mobility, medical condition such as high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.
• Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Child Policy

• 3 years old & above (at least 3 feet / 91.44 cm tall) – Same price as adult and can join the canyoneering
• 3 years old & above (below 3 feet tall) – Less ₱1,200 – Cannot join the canyoneering. Go directly to Kawasan Falls together with a parent/guardian and a guide
• Below 3 years old – Free of charge but not included in the headcount

Unavailable Days

• Every 2nd Wednesday of the month
  • Tumalog Falls Cleanup – replace with Oslob Monkey Watching
• Every 3rd Wednesday of the month
  • Kawasan Canyoneering Cleanup – swap Days 1 & 2 activities
  • Sumilon Sandbar Cleanup – replace with Osmeña Peak
• Good Friday – also known as Holy Friday, is a solemn Christian holy day commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary
• September 22 – Fiesta Day of Barangay Matutinao, the host barangay for the canyoneering exit. Closure shall be observed on this date to avoid causing tourist inconvenience due to traffic disturbances, and overcrowding resulting from the festivities – swap Days 1 & 2 activities

Refund Policy​

• No Sighting of the Whale Shark, Sardines and Sea Turtles during the tour is non-refundable.
• Whale Shark Watching Fee which is ₱500 for local tourists and ₱1,000 for foreign tourists is non-refundable once an Official Receipt has been issued.
• In the event that Whale Shark Watching is suspended due to inclement weather, or other environmental factors beyond our control, only the Whale Shark Watching Fee will be refunded. If you cancel the Whale Shark Watching before an Official Receipt is issued, only the Whale Shark Watching Fee will be refunded.
• Sumilon Sandbar fee is refundable if boat trips to the island are suspended due to inclement weather, or other environmental factors beyond our control.
• In the event that Snorkeling with the Sardines and Sea Turtles is suspended due to inclement weather, or other environmental factors beyond our control, only the snorkeling fee will be refunded.
• Kawasan Canyoneering fee is refundable if suspended due to inclement weather, or other environmental factors beyond our control.
• There will be no refund for any transportation that has already been used.
